Our commitment

Many of our readers are over 50, and some find small text, low contrast, or busy pages tiring. We designed The Wellness Way with that in mind, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • Body text is set at a large size, with generous line spacing and a comfortable line length.
  • Colors are chosen to meet or exceed recommended contrast ratios for text.
  • Text can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout.
  • All pages can be navigated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Links, buttons, and form fields are large enough to tap easily on a phone.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • There is no autoplaying media, no carousels, and no motion or animation.
  • Pages use clear headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them efficiently.

Known limitations

We continue to test and improve. If a page uses a table, it may be easier to read in landscape orientation on a phone. Advertising delivered by third parties may not meet the same standards as our own content; we choose partners with accessibility in mind but do not control their code.

Tell us about a problem

If you have difficulty reading or using any part of the Site, please email contact@thewellnessway.online and describe the page and the problem. We take these reports seriously and will do our best to fix the issue and to reply within a few business days.
